Empowering Women
Uniform Dreams Empowering Women, Educating the Next Generation
Every People The Get Some Food
At Golden Hands of Sand Dumes (Sona Hath Bhittun Ja), we are committed to empowering underprivileged women through practical skills and sustainable income opportunities. One of our flagship initiatives, “Stitching for Change,” is designed to uplift women while also serving communities in need.
Through this project, we selected 10 local women and provided them with two months of professional training in stitching school uniforms (pants and shirts). The training was conducted in a safe and supportive environment under the supervision of a skilled master tailor.
After completing their training, these women didn't just walk away with skills, they became active producers. We now supply them with fabric, thread, buckram, and buttons, enabling them to stitch school uniforms from home or at our center, under ongoing guidance and quality control. Once the uniforms are complete, our team distributes and sells them at low cost rates in Chundiko and nearby cities, making quality uniforms affordable for children from low income families. This dual-impact model not only supports women's financial independence but also helps ensure that education remains within reach for every child.
This project is a step toward a self reliant, skilled, and socially responsible community where women are empowered and children are supported.
